Alternative Heating Methods

One of the biggest way to reduce your impact in terms of heat are alterative heating methods. The first, which is the cheapeast and most easy to do, is solar heating. This alternative method is simply using the sun as a source of heat. The sun goes in through your windows and is stored withing your house by certain type of flooring (such as tile) and then is retained through the lower flooring or walls (Cement). Another alterative heating method is the use of pellet stoves. These pellet stoves are more effiecitent and clean buring, as well as sometimes being able to heat a house just as effieciently as oil furnaces. These stoves can be costly thought because you must purchase pellets to burn within them and depeding on how much you use it would require more pelletes.
